The Aug/Sept issue of Willamette Living features Coelho Winery’s 2010 Serenidade Maréchal Foch Dessert Wine as Clare Cady’s “A Few of My Favorite Things,” describing the wine as:
Deep rich maroon in color, and packed with complex flavor. As I sipped I found vanilla, cherry, raisin, and plum with a finish that made me think of clove and pipe tobacco. Though one might want to pair this with food, I would likely want to just sip and savor after a meal. – Clare Cady
Wine Spectator scores Coelho Winery’s 2011 Renovação Willamette Valley Pinot Gris 90 points, describing the wine as:
Bright and jazzy, teeming with lemon, lemon blossom, white pepper and almond flavors that linger easily on the citrusy finish. Drink now. 394 cases made. –HS
Oregon Wine Press features Coelho Winery’s 2010 Apreciação Estate Chardonnay as a Chardonnay value pick. Using a double-blind method and 20-point ranking system based on appearance, aroma, taste, balance and finish, the tasting panel describes our beautiful wine:
Aromas of hazelnut and toasty oak introduce ripe fruit flavors of grapefruit and green apple that roll soft and sweet across the palate. Nicely balanced throughout. – OWP
